PROJECT OVERVIEW
Charles Street links Baltimore's major tourist destinations and cultural attractions, its city center and historic neighborhoods, its world-class universities and religious institutions, and its unique shopping, dining, and entertainment venues. The Charles Street corridor is undeniably the heart of historic Baltimore.

Since 2004, the Charles Street Development Corporation (CSDC) has studied the potential benefits of building a trolley line between the Inner Harbor and University Parkway in Charles Village. The CSDC leadership and the consultant team are continuing to work with the City of Baltimore, the State of Maryland, major cultural and educational institutions, neighborhoods, and businesses along the corridor to develop a trolley line.
